Simmer Time Cafe

This atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, the food was phenomenal, the portions were unexpectedly large. My 8 year old has proclaimed this her new favorite place to eat and called it "heaven" at least a few times. Only suggestion I would have would be to include salt & pepper grinders and some raw (demorrara) sugar. The parking lot is also somewhat challenging and difficult to maneuver around cars that did not pull into spots all the way. The art gallery was a charming touch.

I visited this place last weekend! It's definitely a nice place. The food is filling and fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone! The service is great!

This place has the most amazing breakfast. Price is reasonable for large portions. Literally the best bacon I’ve ever had. Our sever Danielle answered all my questions since I was visiting from out of town. We’ll be come back here for breakfast our next visit & every visit hereafter! Great spot! A very local feel with unique art and personable staff. Casually order at the counter and seat yourself. The breakfast omelette was quite large and the potatoes were delicious. I understand they can get pretty busy at times, but there was no crowd at 8am on a Saturday. I'll definitely be going back.

So I choose this place at random based off it's reviews on Google. I am visiting my brother and he just moved to the area so we are both unfamiliar with what's around. This food was soooooo amazing. I had the shrimp and grits and I was so pleased with it. The portion sizes are great too! The art displays are so diverse and there are soaps and mugs and iron work and I am just so pleased with all that is offered here.

Located in downtown Kennesaw, this little gem of a restaurant is definitely worth the visit. Cute converted house into a home feel dinning experience. We visited for breakfast and my wife had the vegetable quiche while I had the butcher block omelette. We agreed both were exceptional, well prepared, and very tasty. The skillet potatoes also were great. I also ordered a side of cheese grits that were amazing.The service was great, Always stopping by to make sure everything was okay and checking to if we needed anything.The time that we visited it was cold so we could only dine inside but they have a wonderful patio that we would like to try out when weather permits.

Wow! If you're looking for the best breakfast around, look no further. Simmer Time hit a home run. My family of four came for breakfast, and we were amazed at how great our food was. Amazing homemade biscuits, pastries, slab bacon... oh, and their breakfast potatoes are so good. The porch is a great place to sit and enjoy the breeze. We'll definitely be back.

Wow this was delicious. Beautiful classic home, the best breakfast ever, and awesome southern hospitality. Don't waste your time anywhere else.

Beautiful, nostalgic, and homey vibe. The veggie quiche was light yet very filling. The fresh berries were the perfect refreshing pairing to the quiche. Staff was very pleasant.
