Silvertone Bar & Grill

This is definitely, at night at least, not geared towards families as it has more of a bar atmosphere than sit down restaurant atmosphere. Nevertheless the food and service was quite good, with the food coming out quite quickly. Although the lighting was shocking and made it very hard to see what you were eating and there appeared to be water leaking from somewhere which continued to drip on the seat.

Reliable downtown bar & restaurant for 20+ years. Whether looking to unwind after work, pregame a show at the Orpheum, or grab some comfort food, this is your spot. Bar fills up quickly. Oscar is one of the best in the business if you catch him working. Great drinks and funny stories abound.

It's lively, noisy and has booths made of un-upholstered wood. It's not a great choice for a quiet meal, a nice view (it's underground) or for fine dining. It is a great choice if you're going to a downtown concert or show, if you want good burgers and fries, and if you want to meet a few friends for a casual drink. Not expensive. Not my sort of place, really, being of a certain age and appreciating comfort and conversation-level environments. I would have loved it when I was 35 years younger.

Hidden down a flight of stairs on a side street. This place is a true gem. The steak tips are awesome!

Recommend the tater tots (special). Large servings and reasonably priced. A little loud and dark

Food was good but waiter forgot to bring my husband's chowder. Waiter never checked on us during our meal and we needed drink refills.

Food was above average and it was a decently nice below ground restaurant and bar. Picture is of steak tacos I had which were good, but we also had some truffle tater tots that was unique and delicious. The mango jalapeno margarita I had we also terrific, but my wife's traditional margarita was average at best (it was national Margarita day, so unsure how typical our drink choices were).

Just dipped in for a quick drink and lobster ravioli :)

This place had awesome food not a big selection but all good choices on the menu. Small but nicely decorated underground spot. Would highly recommend it.

This restaurant provides a cozy place to enjoy some good food at a reasonable price.Having quite an appetite, we ordered 3 appetizers including a taco special followed by an entree each.Surprisingly the appetizers and tacos were unimpressive while the entrees amazed.I highly recommend the steak tips which were flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Locally recommended place to go for dinner. We tried it. Location and setting was pretty neat, underground bar. It was kind of dark and dingy though. Food was okay.

Intimate enough for a date and casual enough to bring your coworkers. We had a great time and the food was wonderful!
