The Silver Caboose, for as long as I can remember, has been a joy to eat at. The model trains on the wall make for a nice aesthetic you can't find anywhere else. All of their food is freshly cooked and not canned. The bread can be a bit stiff. On Sundays the wait time can be long and the restaurant. The staff are some of the nicest people in the world too.

An amazing step back in time! The atmosphere inside is truly rustic and classic, plus just about every employee inside is very polite. They have a soda fountain but also some heavenly food! I had the country fried steak, purple hull peas, and turnip greens. All of them were delicious. Please come here. Y'all won't be disappointed. 5 stars for sure.

We love the Silver Caboose. The best servers and such great home cooked food! Try the grilled chicken salad-- you won't regret it. From the pies to the vegetable plates, this restaurant is like eating at your grandma's kitchen table.

It was delicious! If its crowded, you only really have to wait like 20 minutes. The downtown area is super cute and a great part of town. It is reasonably priced. I recommend the chicken and dressing with the sweet potato casserole. The cornbread is also very sweet and tasty!
