Great spot, lots of food choices, service is great, vibe is great- pretty serious choice of beers on tap too. Also quite well priced, highly recommend

The menu offered a variety of options, from classic breakfast favs to unique brunch twists. I opted for their nosh bowl, which was fresh and flavourful, paired with a cup of coffee.

Beautiful Cafe with a nice layout and great kid friendly area. Food was not bad, didn't stand out to me on this occasion but would happily give it another go some time. Coffee was decent and staff were very attentive

Finally went to check out the Silly Goose, that replaced Brixton Yard. While the atmosphere and service were ok (even though we waited for our food for a very long time), the food wasn't. Ordered roasted miso cauli, cauliflower was raw and crunchy, miso sauce was strange, the whole combination just didn't work. Thai beef salad was supposed to have lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, edamame beans, along with roasted beef and house made Thai dressing. The plate was full of lettuce and red onion, didn't see any other vegetables and the sauce tasted, as if it was a shop bought mix. Chips and kids chicken nuggets and macaroni cheese were average too. For the price we paid for our dinner, we were quite disappointed with the whole experience and won't be going back.

When there’s lots of great burger options in the vicinity, if you’re going to do burgers they need to be good. The patties were really poor quality, cheese was like rubbery Kraft singles, the burger sauce was almost non existent. Buns were advertised as brioche on the menu….they weren’t. The little dish of sauce for the chips was less than a quarter full. The staff were great and obviously trying their best with this new venture. Its a great venue, Brixton Yard showed that, but needs a lot of improvement if they’re going to survive.

My partner and I came for brunch last week and have been before when it was Brixton Yard and different owners - LOVED it then… this time under new owners… didn’t love it so much. Atmosphere and service was good, however the food is a different story. We shared the chicken and waffles and the big breakfast and were bitterly disappointed. The food was edible and fine, however could have made it at home. At the price point for these items and the current economy, the food needs to be outstanding and something that I can’t make easily at home. The chicken and waffles (which we had when it was Brixton Yard and nothing like they were then) were dry and the big breakfast was mostly frozen items. The only decent thing were the Indian inspired baked beans. We were asked how the food was and I just said “it’s ok” I felt at that point in time there was no need to complain because this might be the standard of the new owners. Leaving a review now because it looks like on their social media they are using the images from Brixton Yard and not their own food, and that’s not ok. Unfollowing. Shame to say that we won’t be back to The Silly Goose. Unfortunate as the space is great and has a nice vibe, especially outside.

The food is delicious and pretty. Even coffee too. The big breakfast was appetizing, and Benedict's eggs and bacon were properly cooked, pleasing to the texture. Owners and staff are all friendly.

Not tried the food. Nice place to drop in to have a quick drink or cocktail.

Had breakfast here last weekend. Good food, good coffees, friendly and attentive service. Really nice, chill vibe to the place too. Would definitely go back.
