Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

First time there was phenomenal! Second time there, 6 weeks later, this waiter says,"I remember you!" Yes, he did remember us, even to the drinks! Food, service, drinks...always exceptional.

Small, cozy, casual spot. Had bar seating with great view of TV's, as well as a few tables, also with full view of TV's. There were also some outside seating offered for nice weather days. The raw oysters had a good flavor, and the fried items we got were just right! Def would recommend, it is a very small restaurant, but didn't disappoint.

Food was ordinary, too expensive for what you get and the service was horrible. The host did nothing to alert our server we were seated and it was hard for him to make up for that the rest of the meal, though he tried. Host ignored us until we had to alert her. Not a team player atmosphere...

Elizabeth was fantastic. Great place and great food. They have been open since October and have already made a name in Durham.

Cold crab dip shark bite shrimp

Went on a Saturday night and it wasn't packed surprisingly...Food was amazing, the mixed drinks were great. I recommend the Painkiller! Our server was nice and attentive. Fried oysters were great, the seafood boil was great with just enough seasoning!

Amazing! Tastes like the coast of NC seafood in the Bull City. Jalapeno Grilled Oysters smashed!. The fried shrimp is DEVINE! Even the french fries were good. Tarter and cocktail sauces taste homemade and and a great pop to my food. A variety of hotsauces and condiments for multiple palates. Our waitress Cheryl was one of the BEST wait staff I have encountered ANYWHERE PERIOD!

My best friend and I 8 lunch here the other day and was pleasantly surprised the house oysters were the best I've ever had.

Service was excellent! Much better than the experience I had at the Wilmington location last year. Tried the wings for the 1st time and they were amazing! My steamed oysters were small but I guess that's out of their control. Overall. I enjoyed my meal and the service I received.

Great food, great service. All ingredients were very fresh. Will definitely revisit.

How did I not know about this place?!? Monday through Thursday $1 raw oysters?! Are you kidding me? Appetizer specials, draft beer, and delicious shellfish? Friendly service, folksy atmosphere, good food? Seriously, what more can I ask for? The only thing I can complain about is that I haven't come here before. I assure you I will come here again.

Great and quick stop. Friendly waiter provided tasty suggestions and was extremely accommodating. Their Sun- Thurs deals sound amazing. Stop in for some good seafood AND great whole wings! Their chargrilled oysters are fantastic too.

Restaurant was ok. Nothing to complain about but nothing that set it above other restaurants at that price point. The food was satisfying.
