Shoney's

My waitress was awesome. This Shoneys was better then alot of other ones I've been in. They kept the breakfast bar full and fresh.

I really wish that Shoney's would pick one way to make their Slim Jim sandwich and stick to it. Every time I order one, it's made differently. Sometimes the roll is different, or they use different lettuces, but mostly their choice of ham is always different. At one time they always used thin sliced deli type ham. Occasionally I'm lucky and will get one made that way but often times they use their sliced baked ham which is too thick and has too much grizzle. Ordered one today and that's what it was. They didn't even bother to cut it in half. Was not worth the $9. My husband got one too. He ordered onion rings but they were out of them. Our final bill for two sandwiches and two drinks came to $25 + tip. Should have went to Applebees instead and got a steak dinner for that. Will do that next time.

Honestly, the best shoneys I've been to. We were on the way home during a long trip and decided to take a break here for the buffet. The food was hot and fresh and every staff member was friendly and attentive.
