Had I known this location was here earlier I would be coming here all the time for Japanese goodies. Convenient and fantastic food. Thank you for having sunrise mart in sunset park!

It's a beautiful piece inside industry city the food is really good at every stall! They do little events now and then to bring in a bit more of japanese culture. The Sunrise mart is also a must to check out. Lots of imported goods from Japan especially sweets. Went there first because of Reina Scully and gochi gang!

Whenever you need that little taste of Japan great products and sushi grade fish, always brings back memories of one of the best countries I've visited

It was great. Pretty lights outside in the courtyard. Restaurants on one side, grocery on the other. In a building with a lot of cool stores!

Japanese supermarket and food court, loved this place. Good variety of products at the supermarket and great food to taste at these fast food kiosks. A formal restaurant will open soon. Don't miss the Sake bar for a casual drink next to the Sake licore store. This industrial park is growing fast and definitely will be the big attraction in Brooklyn.

Where else in the US can you find fresh gobo root, myoga ginger flowers (see photo), and legit fresh wasabi?

Fun selection, well organized. Some packages are only in Japanese which is a fun gamble, who knows what your candy is going to taste like?

I first heard about this place opening on Facebook and I knew I had to see for myself. The sunrise mart had a wide range of options ranging from Asian snacks to even a fish market where you are able to buy sashimi fish. The food hall reminds me of a traditional Japanese night market where tons of restaurants are bunched together. Oh yeah, and the food was pretty good too.

It's really for tourists there were no New Yorkers there. The entire neighborhood is full of transplants and no native New Yorkers so the tastes cater to them. There are no Japanese in the area.Japan Village is a Japanese themed market. Its not really Japanese. For that go to Mitsuwa marketplace in Jersey. My hubby had the Onigiri which is pretty good. But over all unless you are trying to get pictures for your Instragm page it's really just for tourists, locals can skip it!

Surprisingly authentic Japanese food that tastes almost as good as what you can find in Japan. If I lived closer, I'd go every day.

Wheelchair friendly, including the bathroom. The doors can be quite tricky, but overall loved my experience. They offer Ramen, Cold Soba and other treats with drinks. Definitely a good place to go to hangout or grab a quiet drink after work. The market is another store, there is variety but it seems to be just collections of certain items. Overall, I will be coming back again and again!

Plenty of sitting everywhere, food is so good, there’s also a little market inside too. There’s also some displays on the outside, it’s super cute and photo worthy. Def will be back for the ramen and other foods!
