Shikinoaji Horikawa

We stayed here during our family trip, and we were very happy with this hotel. The location is very good; a few minutes walk from JR Shinjuku station which is a hub for most major train lines (except for Bullet trains), and walking distance from Meiji Jingu and Shinjuku Gyoen. Close enough to convenience stores for food, drinks etc, and the post office is just around the corner for those who need to withdraw money with foreign ATM card.The room we stayed in was large enough for a family of four, which I wasn't expecting given most hotels I'd stayed in Tokyo only provided teeny tiny rooms. It also provided an "Internet TV" - a TV with built-in mini-computer equipped with a web browser. Their wifi connection was also good, so no problem with smart phone and iPad.The rate was comparable to other hotels we'd stayed in Tokyo; not cheap but not overly expensive (around 15000 JPY per night).We'll definitely use this hotel again.
