A great place to eat sushi and drink sake in downtown Charleston.

One of the best Sushi restaurant we have been to. We are a group of friends who work at high end Sushi restaurant in NYC and we can guarantee the quality of the fish. Its worth every penny

Good sushi. Not much of a happy hour but the baked green mussels were the best we have had in the area by far.

I have had sushi from a lot of places and this is up there among the best sushi I have ever had. The waiter was great and got a sense what my wife and I liked quickly. A small critique I have would be that the wasabi was heavy handed on the Nigiri. Nevertheless, being on vacation, I wish I had the time to eat here again.

Great sushi in an unexpected location. We've been here several times and the fish is always fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend. Lunch is busy on East Bay but dinner is always easy to drop in. No reservations.

It was good. Nothing terribly special or memorable, but it was tasty and fast. Seafood Udon noodles, Gyoza, Salmon roll and Miso Soup(best item) we're all good.I'd go back if I was in the immediate area, but wouldn't make a special trip.

Absolutely amazing! The food is always delicious and the staff is so friendly and nice. The best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever went to! I definitely recommend this place. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Another 5 star meal and service at SHi-Ki. We travel over a few bridges to get here because its the best, most authentic sushi Charleston has to offer. I couldnt help but notice someone left you a 1 star review. apparently because he wasnt served immediately, AND didnt even get a chance to enjoy your food. Thats just silly. Ive eaten in your restaurant for years simply because you take great pride in your food, service, presentation and good cheer. Id give you 6 stars if available. see you soon!

Fresh fish, great selections and excellent sushi! Loved the super crunch and spicey tuna rolls. Friendly family atmosphere. My new favorite place to eat downtown. Sooo Goood!

We are tourists from Austria and found this sushi restaurant by coincidence. We are sushi lovers so we just tried it and were immediately overwhelmed. Our Maki and Nigiri were very good (especially the Vulcan roll) and the price was totally okay. The atmosphere was very authentic and the service fast, friendly and competent. We loved it so much, that we visited this restaurant 3 times in a row during our stay! If we ever come back to Charleston we will visit it again for sure!

It's hard to believe that a restaurant with an East Bay St address can be " the beaten path," but this little gem is. I stumbled upon it one day and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the sushi and the authentic, warm atmosphere. Definitely wasn't expecting to find a place this amazing in a quiet strip mall area, but I wouldn't change a thing. Wonderful sushi, friendly staff---definitely visit Shiki the next time you're craving sushi!

This is such a great spot! The fish was fresh and I loved the creativity with ingredients on their rolls. The Super Crunch Roll was awesome as was the House Special Roll. Try them both if you like rolls, you will be impressed with both. The owners are super friendly, the place is small but clean. I will be going back again.
