I play here every year at least once absolutely worth the cost.

Excellent Norwegian salmon meal, accommodated my gluten/casein/egg sensitivities. Beautiful grounds & golf course, husband's favorite. Banquet room coming in summer 2020.

One of the few courses I've been to and felt like $50+ was an appropriate price. This course is as pristine as a public course is going to get. Fairways are cut perfect, greens are very quick and rolled true. But with all that said, this course will cut you down to size. It will penalize you for every small mistake you make. There are several instances where, if you miss the green just barely in the wrong direction, you are making bogey or worse 99% of the time. I'd have to say it's one of the most difficult tracks I've played in Michigan, but also one of my favorites.

If you're looking for a high class golf course with an up-north feel, this is the place. The views are all beautiful, the course is in perfect condition, the staff were all helpful. This is a very tough track though, so beginners should probably avoid this one. Lots of undulating hills and greens. Very difficult putts and approach shots. Absolutely worth the cost!

Best course I've played since being out west in the Rockies. Loved it, but my scorecard certainly didn't!

Customer service was the last thing they had on there mind. I worked at a private course for 10 years and have never witnessed such bad customer service. Course is beautiful and the grounds crew do an amazing job. The problem was that we felt like we were walking on eggshells for 18 and it took the experience away. Especially after spending $900 there.

Good and bad here. It's a beautiful course, however, we are using 1980's old gas golf carts with no GPS? Wide open so you can swing away. Nice variety of wholes and good for every skill of player.

Words cannot express how happy I am that I chose to get married at Shepherd's Hollow! My husband and I got married at Shepherd's Hollow in Clarkston at the beginning of October and everything was amazing. Kelly, our coordinator, was available any time over the year of our engagement to help us with every detail, even things we never thought about. The venue is stunning and offers an inside location with an outside veranda and patio where our guests played games, had cocktail hour, and spent almost the whole night as it was warm. I got so many compliments on how good the food and appetizers were as well as the attentive service at the bar and during dinner. I could not have asked for a better place for our reception. Everything was spectacular, and Kelly and her team sure know how to go WAY above and beyond to make sure you are 100% comfortable and confident going into your wedding day. She made the day go so seamlessly, and I am so appreciative of her and this place!

I had a bridal shower for my daughter at Shepherd’s Hollow. They did an amazing job. The food was wonderful and the service was top notch. Thank you for helping to make the day extra special!

Great course and greens. One of the best courses in Michigan. It’s a must play!

Not a golfer, but enjoy the club atmosphere of the dining room, terrace, and patio. Quality food, fine service, great upscale vibe without being snotty.

Great golf course, has a northern Michigan feel. This course is definitely one of oakland county's best. A must play!
