Amazing food. Finally some good food in the area. Highly recommended!

Life altering. How do they get the meat SO tender? The rice? Abundant, luscious, perfumed. They hook you up with nourishing lamb broth and salad as an appetizer. Make sure to finish your meal with the adeni tea, which is sweet, strong and a dessert in and of itself. The server was friendly and attentive. I walked out of that place feeling like I had just been given a hug. Seriously, the best.

Very friendly people the food is delicious and very good prices and portions. The sheba plate for 2 is mix of different items on menu. The bread is fresh baked and very good. Will definitely go back.

We ordered tray for two.It was enough for four! Good serving size.The lemonade was fresh, took a while but worth it.The rice were very fresh and tasty.The meat was well cooked,flavorful and well seasoned.I wasn’t expecting such good quality food.But in the end I was very impressed by everything they had.Also, the tea they had tasted a lot like the Pakistani chai, and was really amazing!!

there arent enough good things i can say about this place! The food is absolutely amazing a true home cooked feel to each and every dish on the menu. And the portions are just as generous as the people who work there! We went the 3rd day they opened for business and now we go just about every other day! It was my 1st experience with yemeni food yet i was hooked from the very first visit!! The owner is very accommodating with explaining the dishes as well as making suggestions if you are unsure as what to get. And he hasnt steered me wrong yet! I have tried every chicken dish on the menu so far and i find it hard to eat at any other place now. I am so glad we finally got a nice middle eastern restaurant in the capital district! I more than highly recommend checking this place out. There is something for everyone on the menu from entrees , breakfast, sandwiches and desserts!!

A little gem in down town Albany with very impressive food! We were visiting the area and wanted to have a local meal before returning home to Connecticut. We had never had Yemenis food before, were curious and decided to check it out ... Everything we had was delicious ... soup, salad, meats, vegetables, mango juice, sweet tea, dessert ... and the staff were very nice! A modest, little restaurant ... a wonderful experience!
