Best dim sum in LA. Better than Lunasia. Great food, service and decor.

Beautiful space with delicious food. The prices seem a little high for the LA area but we shared a bunch of food between 10 adults and 2 kids and it wasn't too bad. I recommend the braised pork belly and various lo mein noodles they had. The steamed xiao long baos weren't particularly good but the pan fried ones were different and liked.

Since moving to the Midwest, my husband and I haven't had decent Chinese food. Plus, my husband's vegetarian so finding a vegetarian friendly Chinese restaurant isn't always easy. Our friend took us to Shanghai No. 1 to share the unique flavors of that region of China. The dining room was opulent and we were seated at a plush settee and banquette. He ordered in Mandarin the following dishes: seitan with mushrooms and bamboo, fava beans with chives, tofu with long squash, and pan fried fish. Everything was delicious and well balanced. A rice cake dessert, similar to the inside of the fried sesame balls finished our meal. We'll definitely come back!

Very good Dim Sum place on the 2nd floor. Old fashion design in there. Compared to other dim sum places, it has reasonable price and good quality of food. It has good service and amount of parking space in plaza or underground. Overall, it is a good place to eat dim sum at the weekend because it is not over crowded to wait for a table (haven't try dinner over there.

Good food, reasonable price

Firdt time here. Deco is beatful, ambience is great, waitress is friendly, and most of all the food is authentic & delicious. This is where you want to go for a quiet family dinner. Will come back.

Nice restaurant

Everything’s very tasty and surprisingly inexpensive. No carts so you can’t point and get your dim sums. But for that reason, the food is quite fresh. Servers are friendly and efficient, although one sometimes needs to be assertive to get their attention 😊.

Food tastes good but price high. Chopsticks, cups are not that clean.

Awesome and flavorful food, I love the mood the place has, and the workers were very friendly. I will definitely visit here next time.

The food is delicious and great quality every time. I visit every time I visit LA and it's already been 3 years. Love their braised pork and salted ham with rice.

Surely a spot worth trying, the food is fantastic and fresh, the pricing is affordable and it is always clean here. Kudos.
