Shane’s Lit is the best brunch spot in Crown Heights, hands down. There are so many alternatives, and none of them come close to the portions (and quality) that you’re going to find here! The atmosphere is chilled, and the restaurant refuses to apologize for the wait. As the shirts that the servers wear say “good food isn’t fast, and fast food isn’t good.” True, true, and true.

We LOVE black-owned business!!! The food was INSANELY DELICIOUS (even though I ordered a simple breakfast), and definitely worth the wait, which, was very very long. They even have it on their shirt “fast food is not good, good food is not fast”. If you have some time it’s definitely worth a try!!

Service is always great here. I have been coming here for about 8 years now. Food is always good and filling. I'm usually here in the mornings so I haven't experienced dinner here as of yet. I plan to soon.
