Shake Shack

Still the best place to eat burgers. Simple but tasty patty in soft buns. Shake shack does it best. In and out burger may come close but this restaurant still has an edge. McDonald's is a distance further in quality. Once I read that it's patty is refrigerated but never frozen. It explained the juicy taste. I am not sure if it is still the same now.

Started as food cart inside Madison Square Park and now they have 66 branches all over the world. Do watch out for this brand as they are expanding very fast and their cheese burgers often consistently well reviewed. Their burger quality is even better than In-N-Out and McDonalds. Shake Shack also famous for their milk shakes and that's why there are "shake" on the brand name. The burger meat is tender and flavourful. The cheese were melt in your mouth kind of feeling. The burger was cooked medium rare by default unless otherwise requested.

On my lunch break I ordered a DOUBLE Smoke Shack meal with sauce on the side. After waiting for a long while for my food (people after me received their food first), my order came without bacon. I sent it back and it came back with the sauce on it and only one single patty. I didnt realize it until I made it back to my job. I definitely went back and returned it. Wasted my whole lunch break (1 hr) .... if possible I would have given this location a zero. They should pay more attention to orders and respect people's time.

Very popular fast food brand, therefore it was overfilled with people. The chicken burger was good, but not worth the price.

Waited 28 minutes from ordering chicken nuggets, two burgers, and fries until being served. That’s not to mention the time spent waiting on line. The kitchen staff is clearly trying hard, but they’re overwhelmed by mobile orders. Having service this slow in a train station, where a lot of people are in a hurry, and will be thinking “oh, a burger would be quick!” is pretty awful, and that comes down to management.

I honestly loved the food and service, awesome location very close to my apartment. The staff members are always nice. I highly recommend this place.

It's good to me tho. However, it will be a little bit too cheesy and fatty for someone else. Anyway I like it. The view of grand central is very good which made me feel so ancient lol

5 star for Nkrumah. I’m in the food industry in NYC and i gotta tell you this guys is into what he does. Friendly , fast and efficient . Despite the fact that he had a long line of hungry souls coming his way , he had a smile on his face something not all Crew members do in this busy city. Keep up the great work mate .

Well, if you're trying to eat a great burger in the middle of the central station chaos, this is the place, 5star burger on a 4 star waiting time (normal, there's a lot of people in line). In the summer, I'd walk a few blocks and eat out of the station.

Wiling try again! Like chicken burger more. Shake drinking is too sweet for me! My mom also loves the burger. Must try! But it needs patient. 必吃！最爱鸡肉汉堡，shake饮料过甜.回家后还念念不忘汉堡🍔.

My fries and burger were so salted that they were completely inedible, and it wasn't because it was busy as there was almost no line at the time. I took one bite and spit it back out immediately. If I were to try Shake Shack again, it would have to be at another location because I will not be going back to this one in Grand Central. Pro: the cashier did handle my allergies very well, so the service was good. The food however, was far from it.

Quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever eaten, especially from a fast food chain. My favourite is the SmokeHouse burger, the balance of sweetness and spice from the chili peppers give it a unique taste that I’ve never seen elsewhere. The cheese fries are addictive, and the milkshakes are thick, creamy and not too artificially sweet unlike McDonald’s etc. Service in the Greenwich Village site was super, at Grand Central they weren’t as friendly but I guess dealing with thousands of hungry travelers every day is draining! One downside is the lack of seating. The only fast food you need in New York!

Tasty burger, hotdog is a little behind in quality but good too. Quite busy since it’s in grand central but the system is organized and we placed our orders very quickly. Pick up is not as fast, perhaps because they are more used to preparing burger orders. Some people who ordered behind us got their burgers first while we waited quite a while for our items to come out. Price is a little high for the size of their items but the taste certainly makes up for it.

The self-order tablet stations make ordering easy and organized. They have a gluten free burger bun option and a seasonal pumpkin milkshake that tastes AMAZING. I always leave more satisfied than I anticipate feeling for a fast food burger joint. Less greasy than other fast food burgers but comparable prices 👌
