Shabu Shabu Kobe

It was very good. The Shabu Shabu was on point. The atmosphere was enlightening and the servers were very polite. I even called some friends over to enjoy the time I was having at Shabu. Its very cheap and the quality of the meat is A+. No complaining here! Gotta try it ita very delish!!

Service was amazing and the food was perfect! Some of it seemed a bit pricey, though.

Excellent value and an excellent meal

Just converted to a buffet---$16 for a fairly extensive lunch buffet until the end of November, when I believe it'll become $19. Includes a hot bar with fried octopus, squid, and chicken, plus curry, miso soup, shumai, and more; a cold bar, with various chilled fish and meat dishes, as well as juices; and several other made-to-order dishes that you have to request. Everything is tasty, but the service could be a bit more responsive---I had to literally wave down waiters to order hot drinks and request the made-to-order dishes. Still, it's a fairly recent changes so they may be getting used to the new format.

recommended for good food and low stress atmosphere

It is okay. Their appetizer is self-served. Very unusual concept, but it's not bad at all.
