Serendipity 3

Atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. The staff was very accommodating, kind, friendly and on top of things. The frozen hot chocolate was so worth it. It was delicious and worth the hype. We got breakfast food but we weren’t impressed by it. Would come back though to try other dishes because the menu has a lot of variety.

Truffle fries were amazing. The host was able to move my reservation up a couple hours no problem. Such a cute iconic place.

You need a reservation unless you want to put down your name leave for an hour and come back! It's a small place and was packed when we went! The bacon Mac and cheese was amazing!!! My husband had the bacon BBQ burger and he enjoyed it!! You have to have the frozen hot chocolate which they are known for it was also amazing, but definitely can be shared it is large!! Quick friendly service as well!!

I was so sad about my experience. Big portions so they can jack up the prices. Food good but nothing more. Idk if I got a bad day but they employees were pushy for us to finish and leave. The vibe was tense within the employees and as customers we felt the negative vibe also. They were not so much welcoming. Overrated. Overpriced.

Alway loved this place and have amazing memories. Sadly, it’s just not the same. The decor is much different, not very pleasing to the eye and had a horrible smell. I couldn’t identify the sent. but it made me feel a bit sick. However, you cannot beat the ice cream!!

My niece loves this place, I usually take her every year. Today was a bit of a disappointment, however. The waitress was amazing attentive, especially considering all the tables she was servicing. We ordered the frozen hot chocolate, but we were highly disappointed. It was melting so much, not frozen almost to the point of being soupy. You can see it from the photos, how it was just leaking over the edge of the bowl. Waitress great. Food good. Dessert bad ending.

Food and staff were excellent. Didn't really understand the concept but was enjoyable- need to book as very popular

We made reservations, and got a table in the room that was requested on time. The server was extremely nice. He made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious. Fries are a must as well as the frozen hot chocolate.

Serendipity was great. We went for dinner. The portions were huge and delicious. The team was amazing. They seemed to all have a lot of fun together. Great place!!!

I wasn't sure if this place would love up to the hype, but the thing is-- it did. The desserts were pricey, but really delicious. The Frozen hot chocolate was the perfect cold chocolate drink. Not too rich. We got the "small" banana split (or coward's portion- Ha.) and it was huge. More than enough for two people. The service was delightful and the whole shop was very charming. I'm so glad we went out of our way to visit. I loved it.

We came here after watching the movie and seeing other people going here. I knew the desserts were going to be amazing however I was skeptical about the food. I was actually really wrong!! I had a chilli cheeseburger and it was unreal. I had the drugstore sundae and it was lovely. My partner had the hotdog. The portions are massive so prepare to eat a lot of food. Our server was Renzo and we were just saying that he was actually the best server we have met so far in NYC he was really friendly attentive and helpful. The venue is so quirky and really worth a visit.

Went for dessert after dinner. Love this place. Must get the frozen hot chocolate. However, I think the size has shrunk over the years. Still delicious tho. There was a minimum per person. Didn’t want to order another sweet item so we ordered fries which was fine.

I recently visited Serendipity 3 in NYC and wanted to share my thoughts. The food and desserts were decent, though I wouldn't say they were the best I've had. However, my overall experience was less than ideal. The main issue was the seating arrangement – the tables were packed so tightly together that it was uncomfortable. We found ourselves constantly being careful not to bump into the neighboring table whenever we moved or needed to walk to the restroom. This was especially challenging after having waited an hour to be seated; we were hoping for a more relaxing and spacious dining environment. While the food was good, the lack of comfort in seating took away from the experience.

Great food and desserts. Couldn’t bring myself to spring for a $1000 but the regular sundaes are more than above average

It’s a unique experience, something you go once and that’s it. Huge portions! Great for kid’s birthday!
