Very yummy mochi shabu shabu. Great for vegetarians at 1000yen. For meat eaters they also have the mochi+beef , mochi+pork or mochi+seafood set at 2000yen, 2000yen & 2700yen respectively. Very unique food. The restaurant is more than 100 yrs. Each set also comes with chaswanmoshi and the brown mochi hot desert. Besides shabu shabu, they also have many other set meals at value prices. When we visited 13 April , the last order for dinner was 7:30pm as restaurant closed at 8pm. I also bought 6 packets of the dried rice cake back home at 600yen per pack.

We didn't have any reservation and walked in at 7pm for dinner. The host greeted us and promptly seated the 3 of us. The menu had photos so it was very helpful! We mainly went there to eat the mochi shabu shabu and it came in the Standard for 1,000; with beef or pork for 2,000; with seafood was higher. I ordered the one with beef and it was delicious!! My husband ordered the tempura and he liked it! The broth was delicious and the accompanying chawamushi and seaweed mochi was also very delicious. Although we didn't see an English explanation of each mochi flavor, we still enjoyed everything!
