The vegetarian & shrimp options were really impressive. Stick to those & you'll be blissfully happy.

Not sure how to properly give this place the credit it deserves. The service is super friendly and smiles abound. That being said, you really need to have some patience when you come here because every dish is made to order and this obviously takes time. The wait is more than worth it, however, as you will be rewarded with the most authentic Thai flavors an see spices you've ever had. The specialty pad Thai is amazing and satisfying in every way. Visually appealing, fragrant and adventurous! The Thai iced tea is also super delicious. Portions are very generous, so plan on sharing or taking to go boxes. Be careful when deciding your spice level. 3 is spicy, 5 is only for the very few!

A lot of food and the prices are very reasonable! There is a little wait to get your food but it's definitely worth it! Really enjoyed and will definitely return 😊

Was hesitant to try this place because it's new but extremely glad I did. Good authentic thai is hard to find down here in New Orleans and this place is by far the best in town. We ordered everything at spice level 2 so that we could taste everything properly. We had the Chiang Mai noodles with pork, the shrimp papaya salad, nam touk (beef salad), pork larb, and the housemade shumai. I can skip the shumai next time, but everything was delicious. Spice level was perfect. Service was great. I suggest getting the ice cream float to counter the spice while you're eating.

The food was good but the service was horrible. The time it took to get our food was was too long....about 20-30 min. No communication with the waiter after he took our order. We were never checked on after they brought out our food. No water refills was ever offered. There were four employees in the back..only 5 customers in the restaurant. The waiter who took our order never once advised us about the heat scale. Good thing I read the reviews beforehand. When we asked for rice to help with the heat of the dish we ordered the new waitress was a little agitated. She addressed the issue with the original male waiter and he was really agitated. He made it very clear due to his loudness and actions he wasn't happy about it. He threw my entire dish in the garbage. Due to his behavior we asked for a refund on my dish and we left. We have been here for a week and this has been our only bad experience. Shame on him!

For the past 15 years I have been looking for a local Thai restaurant that would compare to those I ate at while living in Los Angeles. I have finally found one that is worth the trip. The two ladies cooking make all dishes to order so be prepared for a short wait...but it's worth it! I keep returning even thought it involves getting a ride to Chalmette. I love the fact that they will spice your meal to your taste tolerance for heat. I usually get my dishes at various heat levels; anywhere from 3 to 5 and sometimes a 7. So if you enjoy good authentic Thai this is the place to eat.

Be patient the food is worth it, this is far from a fast food place. The staff is very hard working but the food takes time so be prepared to wait. The menu has a wide variety of choices including a couple non spicy kid friendly dishes such as the orange chicken. If you like spicy food and I mean really spicy they have more than a few dishes to try. The green curry in a level five is one of the spiciest dishes I have ever eaten. The larb salad is a must and the tom khar soup is the best I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable especially when taking in to account the portion sizes are above average. Secret Thai has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat thai and I regularly drive in from New Orleans to eat there.

Amazing flavors and huge portions. We get take out and can eat for about three meals! Big piece of advice: BELIEVE THEM THAT IT IS SPICY! They do a 1-5 spice level. If you like mild spice, get a zero and add. If you love spice, get a 1!! 1 is a whole lot of spice.

I had no idea how hot the food was going to be. The Larb that I ordered was a 3/5 on the heat scale was way to hot. I had to send it back. The Tom ka soup was 2/5. It was still too hot for my taste but I was able to eat it although REALLY good. I did not care for the shrimp salad, neither did anyone else. Hey husband had the Red Snapper and he loved it! Oh, The Sweet and sour dish was also delish.

Questions & Answers

(504) 345-2487 i would advise calling.

Cause they can barely handle walk in customers. The food is great, expect to not call in and when you go in you will wait.

No, we do not serve wine, but you can bring your own.
