We came to Scollay Square for a late lunch on the patio. The crowd was dying down, so we easily got a table. The service was friendly and prompt and the drinks were good, especially the pink tassle spinner. Grapefruity and bubbly. The food came out extremely quickly and was excellent. The meatball appetizer could have been a tad hotter, but tasted excellent. The mushroom flatbread with the truffle oil was divine and good for a whole meal or to share.

This Beacon Hill hidden gem is a must try. Located right next to the State House . I met my wife here last week for lunch. We sat out on the patio. My first impression is that I would think it would be more busy, but the whole neighborhood seems forgotten. I had the rice bowl, it was a perfect combination of Asian sauces rice and greens with perfect tuna and fried shrimp. My wife had the lobster roll. We both sipped some prosecco and enjoyed an amazon meal. Our server was on point and checked in many times, he was this little Asian guy with an explosive personality. The inside could be redone, bathrooms clean but just old looking. If this place was had a redo it would thrive. Open kitchen was a nice touch and the staff cooking were all friendly as we stooped to talk on out way out. We asked the manager about brunch and he told us about the $5.00 bloody mary and mimosa special. We will be back soon for sure.
