Their pot roast is amazing! Juicy and tender!! Desserts are good too. They will give a chocolate marshmallow cake to those celebrating their birthday. They have been open since 1909 so the inside looks really historical and cool.

Renowned restaurant where almost at least one person in anyone's family in this State has heard of Schuler's. Not a fan of the dark wood, gloomy dining room with poor yellow lighting that will have any camera phone scream, but the food is top notch and service professional. Just go in winter rather than a sunny summer day. Can't go wrong with the Traverse Bay Salad with chicken added.TIP: BBQ Meatball appetizer in a pewter cup

Pretty quiet on a Thursday evening. A little pricey. The cheese spread is not what used to be, not as good. Server Donna was very friendly, helpful, professional and a delight to have as our waitress. We were a table of 10 and brought our own birthday cake and she was very accommodating! Decor was nice. Food was good. Parking a Ross street easy.

This review is for Winston’s pub.Writing a review is a pain in the toto. I avoid it as much as possible. But this place deserves it.There is a reason why this place is still #1:- The bar section is nice a quiet.- Their alcohol selections are thoughtful. There are 2 non-alcoholic beers. There is a local Michigan vodka, etc.- I asked the server about a strange looking bottle and she got me a sample. How sweet.- The food options are incredible. This place is something else. You must come visit.

This restaurant is worth visiting. This has a lot of tradition. My family has moved from Michigan but when we visit we goe here. We also buy Schuler's cheese spread. It is different than the spread from previous generations but sip yummy!!!

We always look forward to a meal there. My husband loves the French Onion soup. I love the white fish spread. The summer grill nights are great on the patio. We also love their holiday brunch. You can also buy the most wonderful baked goods in the front lobby.

Took my mom here for lunch. Had an excellent $25 prime rib. Great experience overall. Emily our waiter and Chris were both very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond several times during our visit.

After walking in to a charming lobby filled with historical photos, I decided to order a salmon and prime rib dinners. Both came with chef's choice sides and a dinner side salad. Everything was fresh and steaming hot. Both cuts of meat melted like butter, the potatoes were straight from home. Finished off with a sweet peppermint chocolate baked alaska. The service was as good and unique as the dining area. Clean dining room and restroom.

This little gem is in Marshall, Michigan and you have to make a stop if you're here. I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was amazing. My husband had the fish n' chips and enjoyed it as well. Stop by, you won't be disappointed!

This is a historic local restaurant that takes pride in quality food and quality service. They always have the best prime rib. If you need something special made to suit your dietary needs the chefs are willing and happy to accommodate. Our family has been coming here for generations and we look forward to celebrating holidays, personal milestones, and great food for years to come.

History steeped and welcoming. Friendly and attentive staff who are top notch. The pride and legacy here is a combination seldom found. This carries over to the food and preparation. High quality, served hot food is properly seasoned and presented in an appetizing manner on unique tableware. Get by the fireplace if you can! Definitely worth the effort and we will certainly be ambassadors and repeat customers!!!
