The food and service was great. We had a large group of 25+. The server were polite and the food hot. The Reuben sandwich was the best I've had.

Food was great, great prices, service left a little to be desired. $10 Giant pretzel so worth it.

Great atmosphere to network and grab some nice drinks. The queso and fries were decent little salty as if the cook added salt. The menu wasn't to our liking so we ate elsewhere. Our server she was great.

An Austin institution for happy hour and beer in the garten. My grandfather’s favorite place when he lived in Austin in 1914. It has not changed much since.

Everything here rocks! Some standouts include their giant German pretzel, the currywurst served with waffle fries, and all of their sausage and bratwurst. They have a great selection of German beer and German style local beer. I’ve never had a bad experience here in the 7 years I’ve been going. Great for family

Great for a Megabus is layover. Outdoor area has nice coverage and lots of seating. Bar indoors is fairly tiny but really well decorated with old German things. Pricing is better than many places in this area.

Questions & Answers

Oh contraire, my menu-challenged colleagues. The German themed choices have been expanded on, the Weiner and Jagerschnitzels still exist. Make sure to get the red cabbage and warm German potato salad and get an extra homemade roll for dessert

As stated above, Yes! I'm confident you'll enjoy yourself.

I think so, but you could look at google street view.
