Not only was the food wonderful, but we enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and the personal attention of the staff. Great place! Great food! Great fun!

They have many signs stating 'only one Groupon per table, no exceptions". My aunt and I had Groupons as gifts so we said that we would sit at different tables that's fine since she was sharing her Groupon with my mom and I was sharing my Groupon with my husband. It didn't matter to us to sit at different tables. So we made two separate reservation for 8pm at two different tables (to respect their rules)... however they were extremely busy and there was a lot of people waiting so we suggested that they just sit us at one table so they could free up another table for another customer which would obviously make sense! They hated that idea so much although it would end up making them more money. The owner rolled her eyes at the suggestion and the waiter stated "I guess we'll be the bigger person and sit you all at one table." It was just awkward and felt very hostile. The food ended up being absolutely delicious. So overall my review is rude but would go back.

The food was really good good and the owner works really hard to make you feel at home! The prices were a bit more than I was expecting as the place is rated at 2 dollar signs.

Excellent food, everything came out fast and steaming hot. The pork schnitzel was amazing with the yager sauce, spatzle and red cabbage. We then ordered the apple strudel which was made fresh on the spot , flaky and warm served with ice cream. Service was great and the staff was warm and friendly. Loved the family atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

The schnitzel was even better than some I've had in Germany. Get the warm potato salad. You won't regret it.

This place is a hidden gem! The environment is warm and inviting. The staff and owners are very friendly and do care that you are taken care of. While their prices are a bit high, for the quality and authenticity, it is a good value. I recommend the potato pancake appetizer, very large portions and amazing flavor profile.

This was my first, authentic German restaurant in the U S. The food, staff and ambience were excellent. The portions were generous but too much. Excellent German beer and wine are offered. This establishment offers a truly enjoyable dining experience. The place seats around 50 so reservations are strongly recommended.

We had the beef stroganoff, and braised beef. The food was mediocre, and the red cabbage very very sweet. The soup was better than our whole meal. The staff was fun, but never refilled my water. Very pricy!
