The food here is so good an Austrian friend brought me here, that must say something!! The beer selection was awesome and the food was even better, need to get the wurst if you havent!

Authentic and down right delicious...and I'm not just saying so because I live above the joint.

Good food, rustic decor and good service. The arctic char consistently has a nice crispy skin and not over cooked. Schnitzel is one of their staples with a good combination of accoutrements. Those comprise the favorites. Others are well cooked, with the spaetzle being hit or miss. Some dishes have changed over the years. Overall a good choice in fidi.

Delicious, modern takes on Austrian classics. Their menu has classics like Spaetzle and Strudel, but everything has a modern flair while still offering filling portions. We loved the Spaetzle and Rib Eye, both flavorful and cooked to perfection. The crispy cauliflower was also perfectly cooked and a nice alternative to say a roast brussel sprout (also on the menu and amazing-looking, though we didn't have it). Drinks menu was inventive and we'll executed as well. Try the milk punch or the the drink with the "woke" whiskey (name is escaping me ;-).

Nice industrial chic restaurant with good food and nice selection of beer/cocktail BUT the food portions are so small. I ordered the homemade tagliatelle pasta under the LARGE plate section but the serving portion is so small. I would say 1/3 the size (at most) of a normal pasta dish elsewhere. Come on... pasta can't add that much cost to the restaurant. We left feeling hungry after the meal there.

Great experience this week during an early dinner on Tuesday night. Happened to be restaurant week and the menu included a range of dishes from the full offering.Food was very good and service was great, especially since there was a huge party dining at the same time.

We enjoy eating out. Last night we went to this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We had a lovely evening there with fine dishes and a well-trained crew and a talented chief cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will surely come back very soon. Highly recommended.

The food was good but portions were on the small side. The ambiance is nice but the tight quarters make it hard for the servers to provide fast service. We went for a work lunch and it took over an hour for us to order, eat, and pay. A few vegan items were not available from the regular menu which was disappointing on a Friday. The overhead front door should make for a great opportunity in the warm weather.

I decided to walk into Schilling at the last minute after a rough day last night. I ordered a glass of wine after I found out that they weren’t serving food anymore because it was late. When I was ready to leave, I requested my check, but the waiter told me that I was good to go because the glass of wine was on the house. It brought tears to my eyes. What a kind, emotionally intelligent human! Thank you for that kind gesture after a day of hardship!

So glad I found this place. Very cute, great friendly service. Really enjoyed my scallops and chicken breast. The Schnitzel looked amazing as well. I am from Vienna and this place is authentic
