Hi everyone . I have been working at Scheffer's for about 6 year and is one of the best if not the best place for you to get your cheese deli and specialty foods. I have been in the specialty and cheese business for 20 years and I know everything there is to know about these businesses I think the person that is call Ma keshop had a bad experience whit my services and I wanted to say I'm sorry that is not the way I treat costumers but I been dealing with some personal issues and I guess it wasn't my day sorry again . Like I said if I suggest a cheese to someone is because I know that person is getting the best products at the best price.

Huge variety and selection! There is also tons of seating right outside which is great for larger groups.

The owner is Greek not Italian... I have been going there since the 90's. There is an extensive selection of dips, olives and cheese. They have any kind of sliced meat you can think of... my favourite is the Montreal Smoked Turkey.

Great Del selection. I love the freshly to roasted beef sliced!

It is a staple store at the St Lawrence Market, you can find food items like cheese selections, antipasto items like olives, feta cheese stuffed peppers, grape leaves with rice, etc. and many other yummy selections, the staff is friendly, it's is a great place to pick up a small bite or cater to your cravings

You can find all this stuff in most european stores in Toronto for 25-30% cheaper any time (Yummy market or Starsky) Don't be fooled by the presentation. For example Pepperoncini peppers come from the can you could buy in any grocery store, they just pour it from the can into plastic container. Which is another concern because it gets mixed up with older stuff. I shopped there just because it's close by. In general customer service is good, but they have one guy (short with beard) who works in deli, who think is smarter than anybody else, sarcastic and condescending. In my last visit it was just too much of that and I wont' be going there ever again.

Best antipasti selection in St. Lawrence Market! Offers a terrific number of olives of all sorts, roasted peppers with feta marinated in oil, cheese wrapped proscuito and more. Inside you will see a vast selection of cheese and condiments. Tons of options in the the deli case: ham, proscuito and salami.
