Scarr's Pizza

The essence of Scarr's is that it is a no frills pizza joint. Very true to it's own essence. The entryway is narrow and the place is decided a bit stuffy. But the is pizza is DAMN good. I'm not sure if the crust or the balance is my favorite. I came here after seeing the location with the Bon Apetit episode where the guy eats all of NYC's pizzas. The dough is naturally milled and the ingredients are all locally sourced providing for an amazing pizza experience. If you're in the area I definitely would give it a try!

Pizza was good, we got a slice right out of the oven. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and funny.

Excellent pizza. Never had anchovies pizza but it was great. Crust is good.. go early.. lines form.
