Scandinavian Shave Ice

A must go to shaved ice stop in Kona. The best part is the ice cream in the middle, really adds a nice depth of flavor. I reccomend the lava flow ice cream. Only hard thing around here is finding parking, but it's on the main strip, so it's to be expected.

Delicious shave ice with tons of flavors, both regular and sugar free. Their small is more than enough. Staff is very friendly and hard working.

Reminds me of Bahama Bucks in Texas. However the ice is not packed. Presentation looks like a dream. After drenching the snow cones in syrup they shrink. SSI has several flavors and plenty of options for everyone. A nice treat on a hot summer day.

Soft serve ice cream inside shaved ice is the best. I had never experienced it before and now I don't think I could enjoy them separately!

Lots of flavors and some neat mix-in and topping options to boot. The ladies working there were super sweet and helpful and patient with us as we tried to narrow it down. Easy to find.

The watermelon flavor was disappointing. Mango was great though and definitely get soft serve in the middle. I recommend pineapple!

Pretty tasty but can't compare to the Original Shave ice. We ordered the large shave ice with blood tiger, lychee, and rootbeer. We got snow call and jellies. Ok the flavor choices were weird beer it's because everyone got to choose one flavor and this is what we got. The rootbeer syrup was the strongest by far, but we enjoyed it. The crowds are large but it was worth a little wait.

Amazing Shave Ice. They have all the flavors you could have hoped for. I'm they put a scoop of ice cream in the middle of the Shave Ice which is very unique. I recommend a lilikoi cheesecake ice cream it is amazing! Me and my daughter usually share a small Shave Ice we can hardly eat one by ourselves. And they are only $7!
