Scammell's Corner Surf Shop & Ice Cream Parlor

Walked in expecting just another surf shop/ snack shop. I was pleasantly surprised by that NOT being true. As my family of 5 enjoyed our ice cream and checked out the collection of stuff belonging to the owners, I got to read a small print out letting us know the resident dog was a retired rescue dog named Zeus. Zeus has his own stuffed animal and t-shirt line for sale there. Awesome!But the guy behind the ice cream could term nailed this trip for us. A few other couples came in with girls between 2-6. The gentleman makes the ice cream orders, and then, prompted only by his apparent love for his customers, he makes the girls all a balloon figure. I will definitely make Scammell's my normal ice cream shop from here on out.

Went in tonight on a whim but it was fate! Loved the choice of flavors even though it made it so hard to choose!! Delicious ice cream and entertaining service. Those voices belong on a stage! Amazed with their vast and varied collection of memorabilia. Five stars/A+/Superb!!

Great place. You enter through a small surf shop. You can browse the items there as you wait in line. Don't forget to pet the store dog, Zeus, while there. The line moves well. It gets crowded due.to it's popularity. Once in the ice cream shop you will find it is covered floor to ceiling with comic book and sci-fi memorabilia. The ice cream servers sing as they prepare the cones, sundaes, and shakes. And when your order is ready, they will sing out to you. A convenient hand cleaning station is located outside on the south side of the building.
