A little disappointed that they didn’t have tables but nevertheless they have great food! I love that they offer free samples. I had the Obispo w/ rice and beans, tamales and atole. Will definetely come back again!

Although the place is small and their hours are short, this place is a gem in Waukegan. I love the decor and cozy feeling of this restaurant. I feel like I'm at home when I come to the restaurant. Everyone is very nice and friendly and welcoming. I have only been able to visit during my lunch hour on either a Thursday or Friday but it's never been too busy that I couldn't get a seat. They have a few tables outside as well. The food is so delicious. Every dish that I have tried has been very good. I think my favorite so far are the Enchiladas Suizas. Their desserts are also amazing. Great spot for real home-cooked Mexican food. They also have some really cute Mexican pottery for sale. Enjoy!
