Great little family-owned toko with Indonesian food. I often go here when I am in The Hague. Take nasi rames and choose four options from the daily choices that are available on the counter. Plenty of vegetarian options available. Today I had nasi goreng (fried rice) as a base, with boontjes (sautéed string beans), tempeh peteh (fermented soy and peteh beans), terong (aubergine), sajour tahu (fried tofu), telor (spicy egg), açar ketimun (cucumber salad), and of course peanut butter sauce.

delicious food there but can be eaten small in scale when the weather is nice

A nice little shop. The dishes are pre-cooked and are heated in the microwave - as is customary in Toko (snack). The food is authentic - either spicy with the homemade sambal or rather sweet and spicy with soy sauce, cinnamon, clove and turmeric. The Indonesian sausages that are served with the rice table are particularly recommended.

Very friendly, accommodating of English speakers and a last minute party of nine that took up most of the restaurant! Delicious food, ample portions. They take credit cards and an English language menu is in the works.

Delicious eaten. Ordered a rice table for two that was excellent. One of the better Indos I have ever been to!
