I am not really a fan of Japanese cuisine, but this place is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Always Amazing

MUST TO TRY : dumplings, duck buns, steak* (on the regular menu) and in the section Maki Mono : Hokkaido!!!! In our opinion with tought that the duck meat was too dry so we dipped it in the soy sauce and it was delicious!!

Excellent service. Great food. The portion is a bit on the small side but exceptional. Great Green tea creme brûlée.

Took a seat the bar because place was packed on a Saturday night. We had reservations for table but opted for bar. Glad we did. We met Jason the GM and another bearded gentleman who was bartending. They were both very knowledgea bbn le about the menu and everything they recommended from th unfiltered sake to the salmon melt roll to the special braised pork shank to the Joe Panik roll was all on point. It is a very hip atmosphere and very Walnut Creek. I have been here a half dozen time but will opt to sit at the bar if there is only 2 of us, it was a fun experience and I will keep coming back when I'm in WC.

Top notch rolls, highly recommended. Great style and Aesthetics. Got a bit of attitude when skipping straight to rolls instead of following their small to larger dish concept, but it was all in good fun and our server was very cool. Will absolutely return and bring guests when they visit.

Nice to have salad, cocktails, and meat options with really fresh sushi. Great service, too!

Sasa is my husband and I's favorite place to go for date night! We come almost every single week because they always have a special menu that changes every week. So it never gets boring to come here. The chef is very clever for coming up with new dishes every week. The staff are always very nice and welcoming and all of the food is excellent here! I highly recommend this place.

This spot was amazing for so many reasons! Very cozy yet chic surroundings with amazing food and drinks. They have vegetarian options and maybe some vegan options, but they may use the same equipment for all dishes. Their signature cocktails were delish!

The food is great. The service is okay. The prices are high. Go after 7 and you'll be rushed as the kitchen closes at 8pm.
