Sardi's Restaurant

The place is lively and great to go before a show. It can get busy but that is expected since its located close to many theaters. The service is great and it has a lot of food choices. The steak I ordered was not the best . Do not order the Créme Brûlé as its not made very well. You can go to other nice French restaurants to enjoy a good version.

Last time I was at Sardi's was in the 90's and I really wanted to go back with my family. It did not disappoint. The food and service were to amazing. The desserts especially the cheesecake were to die for!

We had reservations at a different restaurant for 5 people at 5:30 pm. That restaurant said they couldn't accommodate us. Even with a reservation! Walked down the street, walked into Sardi's and they seated us. A party of 5 with no reservations. Food was amazing and service was exceptional. Very highly recommend this restaurant.

Sardis's still possesses the charm and class of yesteryear with its location, ambience, distance between tables, service levels and, of course, the caricatures! The only thing lacking is the quality of the food - It is good but far from exceptional. Being the landmark it is, most diners will forgo this to experience a lunch or dinner here. The service was spot-on and the atmosphere oozed of classic Broadway charm. It's hard not to feel special when dining here, knowing all who have shared your table and chairs in the past for nearly a century. Prices are typical for the area which is very touristy. It is definitely worth the experience of having a meal here for a bite between shows, a romantic night out or to celebrate!

EXCELLENT FOOD! Service could have been a bit faster but the food made up for it. We were there around 9pm so it was not super busy!

My buddy and I have been here 3 times on motorcycle trips to NYC. The place has lots of caricature drawings of Hollywood and Broadway stars. The bartender actually remembered us from a visit the year before. The menu is quite extensive but we only stop in for a drink! A double Galliano liqueur makes for a nice ending to the evening.

Didn't live to is hype. I didn't find any of the dishes I had to be that great. Service was fast and kind though! Can be really busy so reserve before hand.

My server was wonderful and the host kind. The atmosphere is perfect for a pre-Broadway meal. Prices are on the higher side but reasonable given the location. The loss of stars is due to the food. The mashed potatoes were wonderful but the chicken breast was dry and marginal; I have, often, cooked better at home. For a place this well known, cooking chicken poorly is just unacceptable. I gave three stars rather than a lower score is due to the kind service, but the chicken needs work.

Iconic bar to visit when you're in NYC, it really has the classic feel and you almost feel like you're thrown into a time machine in a good way.The bartender on the night we went on the second floor was amazing, professional and really feels authentic. He was able to handle a large crowd with speed and accuracy, our drinks we mixed wonderfully watching him dance through the drinks was a sight to behold!The place is a bit quiet and without music at the time which felt a bit weird for a bar, but does have its advantages.I give them 8/10!

My meal was scrumptious. The service was great. Just the right portions for the price. Overall everything was quite content.

Went here after a show with my parents. Everything was fantastic. They were incredibly accommodating of my dairy allergy. It was one of the best, juiciest pork chops I’ve ever had. It’s a shame it wasn’t very busy, because everything about the place was great.
