Boneless buffalo chicken was awesome, sauce was so flavorful! Both of our dinners were very good. The cheeses cake was yummy! Jimmy was super nice! Glad I was able to meet him. Definitely going back :)

I have driven past this place for decades and never gone in. I have been missing out on super nice staff and amazing home cooked food. Generous portions, nice salad bar and my 4 year old loved the soup! Don't pass this place by.

This place is a gem. My sister in law recommended this amazing restaurant for dinner, I was a bit skeptical at first but went along with it anyways. Walked in, dining room was on the smaller side but quaint and clean. Service with a smile, we felt very welcome. I ordered the NY Strip and Stuffed Shrimp Combination platter with salad bar. The steak was cooked to perfection and then the taste test.........BEST MEAL I'VE HAD IN YEARS!!!! That steak was perfectly seasoned, tender, and ever so tasty, the stuffed shrimp was a 10 for sure (absolutely delicious) I was told to order Cheesecake for dessert and oh my goodness, I could have died and gone to heaven after that delicious meal!! I'm glad I didn't because I'm already planning my next trip to New Jersey and Sarah Jane's will be on the itinerary more than once, I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!! My compliments to the Chef and the rest of the staff, please DON'T change anything!

Somerville's best kept secret. Food is all home cooked, never frozen. They have a full service bar, and a nice dining room with a salad bar. Everything I ever ate here was delicious. They offer the best steaks in the area at the best prices. Also have many chicken fish and pasta dishes, etc.. good dessert selection too with usually one dessert on the special menu. They don't serve too late, so get here early!

Streak was amazing but there was hair in my pie. So I probably won't go back.

I really like the staff and they care about the food. Hard to come by these days. Original owners are attentive. They want to meet their customers! I think the food was fresh and prepared to order. It is an old fashioned tavern/ restaurant setting ..I always passed it, but rarely catch it.

Great food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My wife doesn't eat meat. The chef came over, asked her few details and got pasta out in few mins! And on top of that dessert on him. He didn't have to do it, but it was a great gesture towards us being there first time. If not for the delicious food, I would still go there to grab a drink and say hi to staff!!

I've only been to Sarah Janes twice. Once about 10 years ago and last night 12/21/19.The steaks we had for our 22nd anniversary were incredible, just as I remembered them. The staff is also top notch and prices are good too. A must visit for a delicious meal. We found our new go to place.

I drove by this place for years and I am so glad I stopped. Great food and super friendly Staff. Beat burger in the area and the shining star on the menus is the shrimp scampi. Highly recommend!

Lots of seafood selections, Guinness on tap, friendly staff, reasonable prices

A disappointing birthday celebration. The meal was so rushed. I didn't finish any of the courses before the next was served. The onion soup was water with rubber cheese by the time I ate it, it was cold because my steak came 3 minutes after the soup. The steak was the only good part of the meal.
