Now this was a total surprise. While walking around we stumbled upon this awesome place and had one of the best meatballs sandwich of my life. Absolutely worth a visit.

This place is legit! Authentic sandwiches. And the owner was so nice! He kept us entertained with the story of his life and how his shop came to be while we were waiting for our food. Not to mention the sandwiches themselves were very good!

Perfect sandwich eatery for a quick bite while up and about in the West Village. The atmosphere is inviting and fun with a nice accent on the Italian-style red & black moto design. The selection of sandwiches includes cheeses, meats, roasted and fresh vegetables. Non-alcoholic beverages and homemade lemonade are available. My eggplant & mozzarella sandwich was delicious, and satisfied my appetite more than enough. There is accommodating simple seating outside on the sidewalk. It really is a lovely place.

Been going here since middle school and right now I’m currently in my last semester of college. BEST SANDWICHES EVER!!! NO OTHER SANDWICHES THAT IVE TASTED HAVE IN MY LIFE HAVE BEEN AS DELICIOUS AS SANPANINO’s. Their bagels and cookies are great too.

I ordered a Giardino, I asked for it without red onions. It then came with tomatoes and red bell peppers. But that is NOT Included in the description of the salad. I asked them why there were tomatoes because I’m allergic and they were NOT INCLUDED in the description. Then they just took them out. I then realized they put bell pepper in it so I asked them again why it was in my food but the cashier sent me to the manager who then said that it was in the old version of the menu. SO THEN THEY JUST TAKE OUT THE TOMATOES AND THE RED BELL PEPPER instead of making a new one. I feel like they will spit in my food if I ask them to make me a new one.

Wide variety of fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly staff.Though they run out of Italian baguettes just about every day. I would think they would increase their order.I'd rather have a day old baguette than a sandwich on faccacia.
