Sand Springs Saloon and Steakhouse

I've been eating here for many, many years now. The food is awesome and the service can't be beat. I highly recommend eating here.

This place was awesome, we came out to Western MD for a lot of hiking and decided to try a local place in Frostburg. The food and service were superb. No one at the table had any complaints of food but many of the sandwiches looked the best. I got the French dip sandwich but the sweet potato fries with syrup were fantastic. Prices were very reasonable.

I will give Sand Springs a 4 star. We stopped at Frostburg for dinner while traveling thru Maryland on our way home to Ohio. The place was very busy for a Monday and it was local traffic so must be good. We were seated quickly, but the wait staff didn't make us feel important. We just felt a little left out. The food was good but not great,. We shared a crab pretzel, a filet with crabmeat on top, side salad, baked potato and steamed broccoli. It was all good, but we sort of wish we'd down scaled to just burgers because the meal lacked the wow it should of had. Not sure if we'll stop by again.
