Food was just great. Waiter was top of the line. He had a biblical name ( can't remember it) and would like to have him wait on us next time we go. Thanks

The quality of the food here is always exquisite - cooked with precision. I like my seafood more rare than medium rare and they always accommodate. The fish, crab, oysters, etc. are always fresh and flown in daily as they state. The servers are always friendly and most of them that I’ve encountered are sociable. The atmosphere is classy - sometimes I feel as though I’m dining on a ship. It makes me feel at ease eating here. The price is worth the quality as well even though they are at the higher end. If you are craving seafood, this is a great place for a date night or family dinner. It’s also great if you’re craving some snacks - for some raw oysters and cocktails. It tends to get busy on the weekends in the evening so arrive early but there’s normally plenty of parking.

This was our 1st time here. David Main was our waiter. He was very through and patient explained everything exactly as you would hope when you have no idea what you're ordering. This ain't red lobster.I explained I wasn't fond of lemon and it was removed from all ingredients in the dishes I tried.This I was impressed with. I couldn't decide so I opted on 3 different appetizers. Octopus calamari and a shrimp fondue. My wife got a seafood platter.I was thrilled with everything I ate my drink was never empty. David was very knowledgeable and the atmosphere pleasing. Is it pricey? Yes but i still say its worth it. We spent roughly 120 without drinking including a brownie for dessert that was heavenly. We very much enjoyed the experience and will be back. I've got to try the Alaskan king crab as well as the lobster.On a side note we did have lots of leftovers. Brought home 3 boxes.As far as i can tell if you leave hungry it's your fault.

Perfectly prepared seafood dishes. Very large servings and excellent wait staff. We were there for a birthday dinner for a family member. Our waiter doted on her which pleased her immensely. Desserts were also attractive and of good size. Be hungry when you go there . The only drawback was the high ambient noise.

I ordered the mother's day meal with two beautiful ribeye steaks. Everything was packaged very well and was made fresh! Condiments, bread, dessert and plates were added! I was concerned about having enough food for 4, but we had enough for 10😀 thank you for everything you guys were awesome.Monica Clark

We had a large group(15) and no reservations. Our wait was 1 and 1\2Hours. We had 5 cars so going elsewhere wasn't that easy.The food was excellent and the staff did everything possible to keep us happy! Music by Nef was just splendid.

Pappadeaux was awesome. We are traveling and did not expect such excellent variety and quality entrees and desserts. Our waiter, Fernando was superb. There when we wanted him, not there when we didn't. Currently they have a Pumpkin Cheesecake that is great but has to comete with a great. Key Lime pie and a Praline Cheesecake. We shared them all for the table.

Just left Pappadeaux and couldn't wait to write a review. We had a wonderful experience here! The staff was professional and pleasant, our server was attractive and made sure we had everything we needed... and the food!!! Aahh, it was amazing, just perfection, we absolutely enjoyed ourselves.

Food was okay this last time. My alligatormbites were not hot when they arrived and it took 30 minutes to get a mixed drink that tasted watered down, likely due to sitting for so long before being served. Main course tasted fine. Only the second time I have been here, so I was saddened by this visit. Not sure if I'll make it a point to visit next time I'm in San Antonio, but will have to go once more to know if I keep it on the list or avoid it all together in the future. First visit was a couple of years ago when the service and food were good.

I highly recommend this seafood kitchen restaurant for shrimp lovers...there is 2 locations in town and I visited both with the same good service! The last time that I went to 410 loop location, our oysters order was late but manager offered apologize and free oysters! Drinks can be better!

Impressive!!! I don't usually enjoy seafood unless it's on the coast due to lack of freshness. In fact, I didn't think I even liked red fish. I had the chef special red fish and shrimp with buttersquash. Absolutely phenomenal. I ate every bite. The sauce to dip it in was delicious as well. Even the sweet tea was freshly brewed, no weird taste like the container hadn't been cleaned well. The presentation was beautiful. I even enjoyed a truffle fudge brownie dessert with ice cream to finish, and the portion was plenty to share with my date. It was to die for. We finished every bit of that as well. We will absolutely return again. GREAT job!!! 👏

Great service from Traci ( bar tend) her co worker Jesse could use a little more patients. We stayed yes we would like to order a drink to Jesse and she gave my wife about three seconds before turning around to someone else. She did come back to us but dam.

Food was great. Our waitress was great. I forgot my debit card, and didn't realize til hours later when I went grocery shopping. Called back, and luckily they found it and said they had it in the safe. And b would release it with proper id.THANK GOD for honest staff/management🙏

They are always so friendly and accommodating. We took our special needs child one day during happy hour. There wasn't anywhere to put him by the bar as he is wheelchair bound. The staff made a spot if us, so that he could join us. Definitely will always be a place we'll gladly give our business!!!

An hour and a half wait on Valentine's was not bad at all! Service was amazing and the stuff crab was to die for! It practically melted in my mouth! Best dinner place for a date night!
