Samuel Slater's Restaurant

Our second time here and again it didn't disappoint. We had Sammy for our server again, which was great because she was just as wonderful as our first visit. She even remembered us and the drinks we had ordered the first time which was a couple months ago. That was impressiveWe had the filet and lobster and it was outstanding. I wish I had room for seconds. It was prepared perfectly. We were greeted by two other staff members to make sure our dining experience was good. This is our new go to restaurant. We love it here!!!

Have been twice in the last month. The first time I had the seafood risotto & it was delicious! Last night I had the Bolognese & it was also delicious! The side dish brussel sprouts with bacon & onions is also so so good! We had Nicole for a waitress & she was very attentive & knowledgeable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great service, food, and lake view. High praise for their corn beef and cabbage dinner... best ever!!!

a decent place, nice comfortable atmosphere and good food. on the water with a nice view of the lakewe started with the lobster strudel which was very good. we both ordered the 14 oz ribeye and mashed potatoes. these were the thickest steaks I have ever been served. cooked as ordered and very good. service was good tho it did take awhile to get the main course. drinks were consistent and good food. overall, a good place. will go back.

This is my opinion and should be taken as such. Hmm a restaurant at a campground/music venue I'm sure we all would have doubts. Well don't. The atmosphere as you walk in the door is incredible. Welcomed by smiling faces I still had doubts. After being seated and welcomed by another smiling face and given the rundown about the place we ordered drinks . Pretty delicious ones. A rum,cranberry,juice mixture💯. And an old fashioned .💯. Apps were a meat and cheese sampler💯👍👍 and some sea hag oysters 💯. Fabulous. Salmon with hollandaise???sauce, which I've never had before was delicious. Dessert was a mint martini which also was fabulous. I would highly recommend taking a trip to this place and give it a shot. The staff was extremely helpful and happy.

We went for brunch 2 times the first was better than the second experience. They went from homemade pasty to boxed with consistently high prices. Also went once for dinner and a comedy show. The dinner took over an hour to appear and they almost made us late for the show. Our show was over at ten which we knew ahead so Due to the slowness of the kitchen we asked the waitress to save us a slice of cake for after the show for my fathers 60th birthday. When we went back up to the restaurant a VERY rude waitress and manger told us they were closed. When we asked about our cake, the original waitress showed up with cake in a to go box... it would have been nice to know that’s what we paid for when we were under the impression we could have a cake and candles at the bar after the show.

Great food. We had a party of 5 and everyone loved it. So nice inside and we had excellent service. 4 different people were very attentive but not to the extreme. Perfect.

Would have been a 5 for sure but the service just wasn’t there. Water glasses sat empty and had to look around for our waitress several times.Food on the other hand is the best in the area. Decently priced for some higher end options. Hoping for better service next time so I can give this place the 5 stars it deserves.

This was our first time here and let me just say it won't be our last. First the atmosphere here was outstanding, second the service was outstanding, we had our server but we were taken care of by several people who made sure we had everything we needed. As for our meals, we had oysters from the raw bar, the Sam Slates platter and the grilled Salmon Oscar. Wow.. the food was impeccable. The salmon was so delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the fabulous dining experience.

We made reservations for Easter Brunch for our first visit to Samuel Slater's Restaurant. The staff was great dealing with the very large crowd of hungry celebrants. The food was very good considering the lengthy hold times as we had the last seating. The price was reasonable. The only odd choice was the staff served the food from what would normally be the self service section of the buffet. Overall... Excellent!
