I am a fan of burgers and so far this is the best I had. The place is pretty small so finding a seat might not be easy. I have only tried one of their burgers and it's the deluxe with bacon and cheese. Will be back to try some others if I am around the neighborhood. Their fires are also very good.

This has become our routine stop for breakfast when visiting SB. The muffins they serve as appetisers are delicious. The food has always been great. There will be a decent line early in the mornings.

The original and only one left of this 63 year old coffee shop...once over 1000 units across the country. David the Manager is the man! Taking ownership and welcoming guests like you are in his home! Love this place!!

Throw back for the past.. pleasant surprise find while out of town for business. Stopped in for an early breakfast. Looked popular with what appeared to be many locals. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice was my choice!

Breakfast on the beach! The 911 omelette is amazing! Comes with pancakes and hash browns. Make sure there's a fire extinguisher nearby though, it's spicy (get the chillies on the side). The manager is awesome, super friendly and welcoming

I love sitting on the patio at this restaurant on almost any kind of a day. The service is really good and today it was provided by Jonathan. I tried a corned beef hash benedict with spinach and avocado and it was delicious. actually this is some of the best corned beef hash I've had the pleasure of ever having. Always recommend this place and I look forward to coming back.

I worked at Sambos in Watertown NY in the mid 70's. It's a shame they had to close.

Ask for David - he is a legendary human being who is skilled in the ancient arts of total and complete care for you on your pancake journey. He has a soft and gentle voice, but a powerful and piercing compassion that overpowers you as you sip on delightful mimosas (get the sampler)

Super fun and friendly team lead by their very personable manager who made the time to say hello. Nice view from the outside sidewalk for a bit longer wait on busy weekends but the seats at the counter were a legit diner experience.

Real full service coffee shop along Americas West Coast Riviera. From my table, I could see the Santa Barbara beaches and pier. Nice plus was available outdoor table dining. Had a very good breakfast menu. Heck, the mens restroom was clean too. Fast food ordering, prep, to table. Not hard to find and worth the visit. Just come hungry. Prices $.

Not as great as it used to be. Has gotten very pricey for a little breakfast cafe. The food is good though.

My favorite diner in town for breakfast. Best pancakes ever!!. Lots of nostalgia for me as a kid I'd go to Sambo's location all over town.

This is a local old fashion american diner. You will not find fancy new dishes but all what we order was simple and good. The service was good and the overall place and location makes for a good experience. Prices are fair given the location.

Food was great. The service was a little slow but overall great. I had to ask for a custom order and they were able to accommodate me dietary needs.
