Salt, once considered a rare commodity and used as currency, is today shared as a symbol of friendship and hospitality at Saltyard. Inspired by the mines where this crystalline compound is harvested, our dining rooms are designed to blend textures and colors, create layers of space, and engage you. Defined as a true social house, Saltyard seeks to emphasize the social and interactive nature of dining. Our menu consists primarily of small plates/tapas and emphasizes the seasonal bounty from the land and sea, evolving and changing with the seasons. Celebrate conversation and community and take time to share a meal together! CHEERS!

Loved the concept of a home-style dining. Where you order your meat and veggies for the whole table, vs each person orders something for themselves. The atmosphere is quaint and not a loud place. The food was fantastic, the steak served our family of four just fine. Would highly recommend. It is a gourmet meal with a down-home taste and feel.

We arrived right on time for our reservation and were worried to see the closed sign. Turns out a number of employees called out sick and they were only honoring reservations and we were the only one. We had the place to ourselves but they provided the best service the food was good and the drinks were generous. The atmosphere was pleasant. A wonderful evening.

Superb dining experience. The staff were helpful and a lot of fun, our waitress made several quick suggestions so we could utilize the happy hour menu moments before it ended. Our waitress had a good sense of humor and joked with us throughout the meal. The "Your Black Heart" cocktail was a great start and the food was sublime! We sampled many dishes and I'd gladly return to try more. Their menu changes (weekly, I believe) so you can always try something different. The chicken was juicy with a beautifully crispy outside. The steak was seasoned well and prepared to the correct temperature (medium rare). The pork was great but the grits and roasted brussel sprouts really paired well.
