Saltbax Seafood Joint II

We've attempted to patronize this business several times. We traveled from Cary, NC to these two restaurants twice and each time, they were closed. No posted sign or anything, explaining why they were closed. When we went, each time, it was during the hours that they were supposed to be open. Once around lunchtime and the other, about 4pm in the afternoon.The red flag should've been when we called them before traveling over there, we got a recording and no one had ever answered their phones. WARNING! Call before you travel to this establishment and if you don't get an answer, don't venture.I Don't and nor should this this spot expect us to participate in CPT. That went out with Cadillacs, Lincolns, and Magic Shave.Don't Waste Your Time.

Hands down some of the best fried seafood in the area. Worth the wait if the line is a little long. After eating there a few times, I had to buy the cookbook, just for the cocktail sauce recipe. All the meals are good, but I recommend the shrimp or the clam strips. Get extra cocktail sauce....you will find yourself putting that stuff on everything!

Real local place using local sourced fish & seafood. Very very very good... super friendly staff .. gotta go back to try more!! I even bought the book!!
