3.2 is a suitable score for the Latin Palace. I bought a Groupon, which included dinner and a salsa class for 2 people. At 20 bucks, I couldn't really complain when we were brought huge plates of fried food. It wasn't good, but we need something. The dance class wasn't much for a beginner like me. I am not a great dancer, so I didn't learn much during the fast paced lesson. Nevertheless, a lot of bang for your buck. The music was Latin, as was the decor and atmosphere. I would go again, but not more than once in a blue moon. Good for a night out.

Great, great sound, hammer lighting - it's always fun

I saw an African-American lady in her 60s dancing with a Caucasain boy in his 20s, and I thought to myself: This is the epitome of Chango! The only place in town where you can see people of any age, race and background having a good time together. And if you´re into reaggeton and dancehall, it is the place to be!

I love Chango and recommend it to everyone. I absolutely cannot understand why it is rated so negatively here! If you really want to dance and don't just want to drink and stare, you'll love this shop. Latin music lovers will definitely enjoy it. The atmosphere is really nice, you feel comfortable and the palm trees give you the feeling that you are somewhere in Latin America. I will go there alone today as a woman! I'm really looking forward to it !!

Drinks were good and strong but the crowd was small and didn’t get poppin like years before. We got there when the classes were ending. They had free tokens for free ice cream out back. Which was good. Just a bit slow for a Latin club.

We had a 3 course meal and it was just great.You could put together the menu, we chose the starter for the empanadas, very tasty with the avocado sauce, very delicious beef stuffed dumpling.As a main course we chose the Argentinean rumpsteak, unbeatable for the price. We got a huge plate of salad and fries, ketchup and mayonnaise in a separate shell, the gnawing butter came separately, which I found very good.Also the dessert was really delicious, rice pudding with cherry in the brandy, very delicious.As a great ending, there was also a free salsa taster course, really recommended it was a lot of fun, best not warm clothes, because it is very warm in the dance area.The service was super nice, the atmosphere was also great with the music and the decoration, so all in all very well done. Only the prices may be a little expensive, but it can not be perfect.

If you can make it past the bouncers outside you'll be ok. They don't like non-Germans so be prepared

I admit it: in itself I can not do much with Latino - but I still felt very comfortable. A big compliment to the one who has calibrated the system: super balanced sound !! Nothing barks, the heights do not clank - even if it's not quite my music: the system is a pleasure. The prices are mixed. Beer and water are available for € 5, - plus, the Aperol-Spritz struck with € 10, - to book. The Securitiy is friendly and does not let the fat Max hang out - very pleasant!

In terms of the other reviews about race issues, I saw a pretty diverse crowd, and I'm not white nor speak german. Cool look, big floor, good sound.

We bought an offer at Groupon (3 Courses menu & Dance course for 2 people) for 20€ - the Rump Steak (+ Fries + Salads) was (much more than) value for the money - a nice surprise!! The salsa course was funny and the teacher explained well about the basic steps - after the courses we could dance salsa on the floor. But the beverages are pretty pricy (5€ for 500ml bottle of water, 10€ for cocktails). I didn’t expected too much, so it was a great evening out.

Friendly service, simple but delicious food and a very warm atmosphere characterize this place :) We had a lot of fun with the salsa course and will definitely be back soon.
