Outstanding brunch trifecta: food + service + atmosphere. Only challenge is deciding what to order. Our party of three each ordered different: benedict, quiche, chilaquiles. Three thumbs up.

The food and drinks here were amazing! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had the scallops and they were excellent. My partner really loved his steak.

Wow. The fried oyster mini burger with kimchi and garlic mayo was so amazing I've been thinking about it since I had it 3 days ago. I think I may need to go back tonight and exorcise that demon. Oh and the other food is good too.

The food is always fantastic at Salazar's. As a traveler and a foodie I am proud to have Salazar as a Cincinnati hot spot. The one issue I have every time I visit is the service. Food is the most vital component but when you are seated and never have a single person introduce themselves as your host of the evening, it gets frustrating. Furthermore, when you have to track people down every time you would like to order something or ask for your bill....it is disappointing. The place is quaint enough you should not have to go far, especially when you are literally sitting at the bar. I have given this place it's due by going four times and it is consistently the same issue.

We chose this restaurant for our date night (no kids). We didn't make reservations so we ended up at the bar, which was actually quite comfortable. We enjoy being able to talk to the bartender about his/her recommendations on drinks and food, so bar seating is great for us. The food was really excellent. The roasted broccoli was phenomenal. It was a very rainy Saturday evening and we went about 6pm before moving on to watch a football game. Because of the rain and relatively early time, we didn't have to wait to get a seat. I think this place would typically be more crowded on a Saturday night.

The small plates were perfect, but sadly the steak wasn't up to the standards of a place like Salazar. It was labeled "Ohio Wygu", but it was chewy and lacked seasoning. Hopefully this particular cut of steak just wasn't up to quality because I can't understand why they would offer it. However, I will still come back in the future and, hopefully, I'll be able to revise this review to five stars. The service was great. Our server recommended a wine that was simply lovely. The decor and atmosphere was wonderful.

I had the short ribs or a variation of short ribs. The pig eats were fantastic. Portions weren't all that much for the money. I would have preferred a better coffee selection since i enjoy a after dinner coffee. But over all a very nice experience

Excellent service, great vibe, the cheeseburger was like the platonic ideal of a cheeseburger. The right mix of creamy, savory, snappy veggies and bacon, and of course a solid quarter pounder as the base.

Update: Had to have it one last time at the original location before they temporarily close to reopen in a new larger location. Harvest Moon cocktail is an aesthetical and delectable delight Restaurant Week is building momentum with a visit to Salazar - the eponymous OTR restaurant by Chef Jose Salazar Supreme dining experience. Fine dining without being overly pretentious or breaking the bank. 1. Cocktail: Love Letter Refreshing spring evening drink while the sun was still out. For food, went with the Spring restaurant week special dinner menu 2. First course: Parisian Gnocchi. Intricate and Exquisite! Subtle medley of savory flavors and textures (crisp, soft, smooth) with each ingredient shining on its own and coming together harmoniously! And something to be said about the color of the presentation. Felt it represented a bright spring evening perfectly. This was a grandslam home run gnocchi creation by Chef Salazar and his team. Probably the best gnocchi dish I have had, ever! 3. Second course: Blue corn Hurache Vegetables in this really pleasant artisanal presentation of Hurache included English peas, radishes and asparagus as part of the spring vegetables medley, along with refried beans, salsa and crema- all delicately elevating the star of the show - a perfectly prepared Hurache! Great follow up to the gnocchi first course. Jumping across the pond seamlessly between the two courses. 4. Third course Dessert: dark chocolate pot de creme with chopped strawberries and vanilla whip. Well , let's just say this unleashed a bit of a sweet tooth in me...and I ended up overshooting the restaurant week menu to order a 4th course add-on dessert 😆 5. Fourth Course: Warm fresh cookie, did I mention warm?... just the perfect way to finish a cool spring night I leave Salazar a happy and full human....again ! Where to next on Wednesday??

Outstanding food and service. The meal consisted of six courses that were expertly prepared and had a well orchestrated presentation. The service staff were very professional and a true credit to the organization. A great restaurant.

A favorite small restaurant and bar, pub atmosphere. Early in the OTR restaurant revival effort. Excellent savory dishes. Warms the soul during harshest winter months and feels right when wearing shorts in middle of the summer.

Ate at the bar, phenomenal bartenders. Great menu, great dessert. Would eat here every week if I were closer!

Our experience here was 100 per cent PERFECT. Have not been able to say that about any restaurant for a long time. Not a single aspect of our visit was anything but wonderful.

Loved the atmosphere. The food was incredible. I didnt know burgers could be that juicy. Loved that they had 2 deliciously thoughtful mocktails on the drink menu. Highly recommend.
