I really like this island and Santa Maria. There are a lot of beautiful beaches but less shady place and the sun is burning very strong! You have a lot of options for different watersports, especially Kite Surfing. In Santa Maria are many good restaurants, cafÃ©s and bars. The food is very good and cheap!

Beautiful island. The people are very nice! Rent a quad and drive around in the desert, hang out with the locals, go to Sharkbay to see baby sharks, the salt mines and etc.
