The Shoki Bowl was tasty and protein packed. The chicken broth was tasty and the chashu was amazing. The place was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but I didn't have to wait much. Will definitely be visiting again to try their other options.

Very good place that I'd recommend. Prices on par for the Washington area, my bowl with egg was $15. Mostly friendly part of town. Friendly and personable staff. The casual vibe and small place makes it very cosy, it would be very reasonable to bring a small group there, as I saw several of there.

High quality ramen. Broth, toppings, chashu are excellent. Noodles are somewhat average but quality of everything else made up for it. Appetizer buns are really good too. Friendly staff.

I got the chosun bowl with no spice (cannot handle even mild salsa sometimes). Was 10/10! Restaurant itself is very small and packed together. I had a great time and the service was decent. You do have to walk downstairs into the restaurant (only like 3 or 4 steps) and they will not seat you without your entire party present. High prices for what I’m used to but normal for the area. They do charge extra for adding spice (they ask you if you want spice from 0-10 and then charge you based on that). If you order a soda, they bring you it in the can which I was just expecting a fountain soda so no refills! (They do bring water to the table frequently though)

They have a vegetarian gluten free ramen! The gluten free miso tasted amazing. Cute place, too!

3/5 my review, 5/5 partner's review. I am personally unimpressed, they have one vegan ramen option and it's flavor is mildly meh. I'm sticking with JINYA which has more options available. However, my partner is less picky and really likes Sakuramen.

Great ramen spot with an authentic selection. I got the tonkotsu red which was tasty. A complimentary egg with more included toppings would make it an even better deal! They also have the Kagua Blanc (craft beer) which is one of my favorite beers of all time.

The food here tastes good. The staff is friendly. The price for the ramen is comparable to other spots. Seating and parking are what you expect from a place in DC.

Best ramen in the area. There might be a little wait but it's worth it. I recommend Shoki Bowl, hot level 6 (yes, they have levels of hot).

Questions & Answers

Paid parking structure about a block and a half away!

They have 2 options for gluten free broth and noodles

They have two vegetarian ramen options if I remember correctly. Their menu is available online. Their classic "Sakuramen" says it's vegetarian but it also looks like it's vegan.
