Sakura Sushi

Pretty good food, but bring some conversation topics with you because the service is slow. I was there at a busy time (Sat night), but it still seemed really slow.

Fresh Sushi. Great Specialty Rolls. Clean. Friendly Staff. Only place I trust in town to get sushi at. They kept the Manalapan Roll on the menu from previous owner. Definitely worth trying.

The rice was a little dry on the rolls. Fish soup was delicious. Spicy tuna wasn't spicy enough.

Pretty darn good NJ sushi in a stripmall. The best I've had in central Jersey. Gets super crowded on weekends, and take out can take an hour. That tells you how well liked this place is. Price is fair.

This is our favorite local sushi place. My son and husband enjoy most of the menu - chicken teriyaki bento box, Oga rolls and most of the other special rolls (the names of which escape me). I don't eat meat or raw fish, so I always order the veggie roll and spicy shrimp roll. These are my favorites. I recently tried the Boston shrimp roll. It was pretty good, and has a honey wasabi sauce on top. We are always satisfied after our meals (especially after having ordered miso soup and rock shrimp for appetizers). This is a small restaurant in Manalapan, but there is rarely a long wait for a table. Only one bthroom, but it is clean 😊This place is BYOB, with very friendly staff!

Who ever thinks this place is reasonably priced they are out of their minds they skimp out on the rolls and are way to expensive for what you get I paid 28 dollars for 4 regular rolls which only gave you 6 pieces each roll which is seriously a rip off.. I would recommend Oyako Tso's sushi in freehold they are the best priced by far and give you alot more then ever other place I tried I got 3 special rolls and 3 regular rolls there for 33 dollars and each roll was 8 pieces each definitely way better then this place so don't waste your money here..

I always have a good experience here and the selections are so yummy and creative. The service is always great and it’s very cozy and clean!

We frequent Sakura Sushi at least once a week, and all I say is it's the best sushi my family has ever eaten.

We've eaten at Sakura Sushi several times and each time the food was fantastic. The soup, sushi, and appetizers were all fantastic. The fish was fresh and the rice was cooked to perfection. We will certainly return in the future.
