Sakura Japanese Steak and Seafood House

Go every time we get paid. The chefs are awesome, the waiting staff tries but some come short. Some though are really great. If they get busy expect some items being forgotten or wrong drinks. Other than that great food, great sushi, great drinks and awesome experience. Recommended by far.

The food here is great and the service has never disappointed. The chefs are really fun and provide a fun table side experience.It's a great size food portion, and of course the shrimp you catch in your mouth is always a great bonus ;) the prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of proteins as well as a great selection of sushi

I have been going to Sakura for 10 years and always have the same request: no scallions and no cucumber. Of course I also normally go in. I called to get a to go order to be told they can only give ground fish (includes scallions) in spicy rolls and cannot give whole fish with spicy sauce as the normal sushi chef does; again normal sushi chef was not there today. I go to Sakura on a regular basis but will travel north from now on to enjoy sushi. Poor customer service!

Place can get crowded, and is a little on the pricey side, but man is the food delicious. I cannot remember ever not getting quality food and service in all the times I've gone.

Great food, friendly staff. The only negative is parking. The parking is kind of limited. So it's quite possible to get towed if you park I the wrong spot. *DO NOT PARK AT THE URGENT CARE CENTER!!!* Just a warning.

Celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday as she wanted with friends and family. Great food, excellent chef. We will return soon.

First time going, and I gotta say I was impressed. Service was great, the chef was amazing. It is a bit pricy, but you get a great show, and alot of food. You will not leave hungry. For what you pay and what you get. It's worth every dime. I would recommend Sakura to anyone who likes Japanese food.

I forgot that the chef chops up your steak and that annoyed me. I'm not a toddler, I can cut up my own steak. Plus, I ordered my steak medium, by the time the chef got finished hacking it up, it was well done. Then he SMOTHERED it in butter. I didn't know he was going to do that, so I couldn't have told him ahead of time NO BUTTER! There are other ways of flavoring steak. So, yes, my fault for not knowing.

This was our second visit to Sakura, and we loved it. The food is fabulous and the portion sizes are huge for the price (and you also get a show from the chef!). I was glad we made a reservation as our spots were saved at the table when we walked in. Highly recommend!

The food was phenomenal!! I'm new to Fredericksburg, and took my niece there who is in from Ohio and staying with me for the week. I love Benihana, but seem to only have locations in big cities, so I always seek out local Hibachi grills. Chose Sakura based off of other reviews, and was beyond impressed!!! Quick, friendly service with the best teriyaki chicken and fried rice I've had in a long time!! And the amount of food..... I have a good 3-4 meals!
