Sake Kawa Sushi and Ramen

Probably my favorite sushi place in LA. Everything is always fresh, best Sushi I've had so far. Even their steak teriyaki is good and really well fried tempura. If the sushi chef recommends anything, just eat it without asking, it's never bad.

My wife and I each had the $80 omakase, and I must say that I had four bests tonight: the anago (saltwater eel), ika (squid that was imported from Japan), toro with caviar, and the salmon roe. The kumamoto oysters were also excellent, encompassing 5 flavors: sweet, salty, sour, slightly acrid and bitter. My wife especially enjoyed the shimaji, which I had never tasted before but absolutely loved.While not at all bad (the quality was excellent), we thought that the only piece that didn't quite hit its mark was the wagyu with uni. Both have such strong flavors that they cancelled each other out, with the wagyu slightly overpowering the uni. We look forward to our next meal here!

This spot obviously knows how to please their customers. Regularly with a welcoming attitude. The food is reasonably priced, constantly tasty and neat.
