The food here was pretty good. I fried fish was above average and the sweet potatoes and green neens were superb. I wasn't a fan of the mac and cheese. It was only average. The service aas great and the dining area was clean. I'll definitely come back to try something else.

One of the city's hot spots for consistent high quality " home made " soul food. These lady's have never let me down. There is usually no line and I always feel welcome. If you love soul food at an affordable price with generous portions then this is definitely a place you should check out.

This is a hidden gem. Church cafeteria with all of your soul food favorites, made with love and care. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the pies were fantastic. Plenty of seating and the portions will not leave you hungry. If you're at the Convention Center, stroll over to Saints Paradise Cafe. It's definitely worth the trip.

The cafe is extremely clean and the food is handled with care. The food is awesome! I like going there on Fridays for the fish. The cake is also delicious.

Excellent Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner menu's. Soul food seven days a week. A variety in Deserts. Located in affluent Shaw Mt Vernon district. Been at this location for decades. Large dinning area.

Parking was a big problem, I circled the block 4 times. They were out of fish but I waited for them to cook more & it was worth the wait. I think I'll catch the train the next time. Mt. Vernon Station subway station is right across the street

My Mother used to get the smothered pork chops & I love the pork ribs. But honestly we've sampled the entire menu & have never been dissatisfied 😊
