Sailor Oyster Bar

I love this place and go back almost once a week. The oyster selection is the best in town, Sundays are all around great. Good but not excellent beer selection, decent cocktails. All of the other fare is excellent as well. The tinned fish presentation is delicious, I had the calamari most recently. Most of the staff are genuine locals and longtime veterans of the downtown Annapolis restaurant scene and they seem to know how to appeal to people sick of the problems with downtown restaurants. The location is absolutely superb, being right on the periphery of downtown Annapolis while providing multiple options for parking within a few blocks. Seating has traditionally been limited but last time I went I took a party and we were all set upstairs immediately. This place is already a favorite among locals and I suspect that it will become a real fixture of Annapolis in the future.

Cuties serving delicious creative dishes and cocktails that hit the spot! I don’t like oysters but the person who I was with said they were bomb. Will b back for some more Smiff Island Cake! Bless

Oh, its a fo real oyster bar and bar. I love the decor, ambiance and feel of the old place. The food is simply daring and fantastic. I love the selection of fresh yummy oysters and great unique bar drinks. I almost rubbed one off in the bathroom but was pressed for time.......visit and you will see what I'm talking about. The staff is super duper too.
