Sadako Japanese Restaurant

The sushi quality here is very nice. The staff is friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Mostly college students here and the tables are close together. I enjoy the sashimi and noodle dishes. Never disappoints.Update:Be careful ordering carryout because the prices listed on their online menu are not current prices. I spoke with the owner and they state they are not able to change it. I still love this restaurant and their sashimi quality, but it was disappointing having to pay $12 more than I thought I was.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Ann Arbor. High quality food, great variety of dishes, excellent service, and best of all not incredibly expensive.

Very good sushi. Soup and salad are served before the meal and they have a nice fried ice cream for dessert. The staff can be moody.

What a shame. Food is good, though a bit pricey. But the staff are a far cry from being friendly and polite. I had a very unpleasant experience dealing with the manager who made nasty remarks about Asian people, saying they have no manners (oh, the irony). At that time, I only came to discuss about a possible discount agreement for a student org and yet the manager kept being condescending and rude. Hope they change their attitude for the better.

The sushi and other foods were delicious and the mood was very comfortable. It was all pretty delicious and refreshing

This place can’t be beat in terms of cost-to-quality ratio. I have yet to find a place to offer the price that Sadako offers while maintaining quality sushi rolls.

This has been one of my favorite Japanese restaurants since I was a student here in 2009! Delicious sushi, good lunch deals, great tempura boxes. Everything is yummy

Sadako's bento boxes pack a lot of food and include a side salad and miso soup. The sushi is always fresh and their prices are really fair. It can be pretty busy during lunch hour on a weekday, so plan accordingly.

This is my favorite sushi place in ann arbor and otherwise. It's so delicious and the staff is always so nice.

Awesome spot for lunch (bento boxes are a great deal and there is a big variety to choose from). We also get takeout sushi from here -- better prices than elsewhere and the quality is still great.Gets pretty busy during regular lunch hours on weekdays, but outside those hours or on weekends it's quieter and easy to get a table.

Their food is okay, but not thrilling. They don't take American Express cards, so be ready for that!

I like the firestorm roll the best! So delicious and spicy but at a great price too. For what you pay, you certainly do get a lot of food. On top of that, the atmosphere is also very comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend :)
