Never been, never will go. One star due to the owner's replies to people who reviewed negatively.Taffer should have taught you some manners or customer service. Learn to take criticism to better you and your restaurant, not respond to reviews like a petulant child.Edit: after owner's reply to me. It works however I say it works, that's the beauty of online reviews. Also, petulant isn't a big word - sorry you had to take time to look it up. Best of luck staying in business once the novelty of a bar rescue wears off.

Don’t know why people who have never been to the place rate it but I had terrific meal after seeing the place on Bar Rescue. I definitely recommend. Good food. Good fast service.

Off to the side is a family-run eatery that sells homemade tamales and corn on the cobb. The son is a delight who quickly gives you the specs on each tamale as well as options on the corn too. I ordered the slightly spicy chicken and corn with butter only, salt is at the table. My tamale smelled so good I began eating it right away before realizing I ought to share this with everyone! The chicken is clean, no fat skin or gristle and Moist...oh my stars and while it had enough kick to open my sinuses I didn't suffer a Dante's Inferno burning mouth. I finally have reason to enjoy newly living downtown, its an easy wheelchair ride for more tamales! The place is easy to navigate with a chair and the bar staff where I bought my soda was ever so kind. Compliments to Mama who makes these yummy tamales and thank you to Dad and Son as well for making me feel so welcome. They sure served up the smiles and fondly spoken farewells.
